ETD - Exoplanet Transit Database

Announce us paper with transits | How to contribute to ETD | Model-fit your data | Transit predictions

If you have your own exoplanet transit observation, you can include it to Exoplanet Transit Database by three different ways:

  1. RECOMMEND US YOUR PAPER - If your observation was published in some scientific paper, just recommend us your paper.

  2. SUBMIT YOUR OBSERVATION TO TRESCA Database - ETD database is connected with on-line source of exoplanet transit observations - TRESCA project (TRansiting ExoplanetS and CAndidates) of Czech Variable Star Section. Use on-line protocol to send observation to ETD. Protocol automaticaly fits your data with model light curve, correct systematic errors and find out values HJDmid, Lenght and Depth.

  3. SUBMIT YOUR OBSERVATION TO Amateur Exoplanet Archive (AXA) - Our database administrators are periodicaly checking for new observations in this open source maintained by Bruce Gary.

What's new:

2010-08-29 : Non-linear ephemeris was implemented for transit predictions of two new transiters - Kepler-9 b and Kepler-9 c. The transit prediction should be now more accurate.

2010-08-28 : Kepler-9 b and Kepler-9 c transiting exoplanets were added to ETD
Please note, that there are VERY significant TTV (hours!), so linear ephemerides gives is a bit uncertain transit predictions. See the plots.

2010-08-24 : Five new transiting exoplanets HAT-P-20 b, HAT-P-21 b, HAT-P-22 b, HAT-P-23 b and HAT-P-24 b were added to ETD. All the stars are located in northern hemisphere.

For more details, see discovery papers:

HAT-P-24b: An inflated hot-Jupiter on a 3.36d period transiting a hot, metal-poor star, by D. M. Kipping et al.

HAT-P-20b--HAT-P-23b: Four Massive Transiting Extrasolar Planets by G. A. Bakos et al.

2010-08-19 : New transiting exoplanet WASP-37 b was added to ETD.

For more details, see discovery paper by E. K. Simpson et al., WASP-37b: a 1.7 MJ exoplanet transiting a metal-poor star
